SK Aerial
SK Aerial was more than just a business. It was my first real venture into entrepreneurship and a chance to combine my passion for technology with real world applications.
As the founder of SK Aerial, I created and managed every aspect of the business. I even built a website to showcase my services and portfolio, though it is no longer running due to a shift in focus toward other priorities, such as school and long term career goals. Running the business gave me the chance to dive into marketing through social media, where I connected with potential clients and shared content that highlighted my work.
Through SK Aerial, I taught myself industry standard software like Adobe Lightroom, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop. These tools allowed me to create polished, professional visuals for my clients and sharpen my creative skills.
To operate legally and safely, I self studied the FAA Part 107 regulations to become a certified drone pilot. This required understanding airspace rules, weather conditions, and operational safety, all of which prepared me for the challenges of running a business in a highly regulated industry.
This experience also gave me a solid foundation in business fundamentals, including client communication, time management, and balancing creative work with logistical challenges. SK Aerial was more than just a business. It was an opportunity to grow, learn, and discover what it takes to bring a vision to life.
